The KX414 holds a charge far longer than any of the Motorola phones I've owned, and seems to handle being bumped and dropped without dropping dead. My only issue with this phone is the button placement to connect and disconnect are exactly opposite of where they are located on Motorola phones, so I seem to hang up on people all too often. Other than that, which is obviously an operator error ;-), it's a great, inexpensive phone.
Kyocera: Not the greatest cell phone, June 24th

Kyocera's voice activated dialing is unreliable. Quite often it mistakes one number for another, and dials the wrong person. There are not many ring tones for the Kyocera KX414. The battery is not the greatest. It can be charged all night and die by the middle of the next day without making a single call.

I bought the KX414 phone and for the most part the phone is fine not great not even good. The battery doesn't hold a charge for a full day even after charging over night. The send buttons are opposite from other phones I have had. On the upside the phone is pretty nice looking.

I have had this phone for 3 plus yrs and the pros are ,it's still works fine and the kids drop it all the time and has not failed me yet. Cons are the battery goes after 6-7 months. other than that it's great for the kids.
